Terms of Service
The basic rules for using DejavuHost's VPS and dedicated server hosting.
// 1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, placing an order, or using any DejavuHost service, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Acceptable Use Policy, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
// 2. Our Services
DejavuHost provides VPS and dedicated server hosting. Plan specifications (CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth, and location) are as described on the order page at time of purchase. Exact hardware configuration can vary slightly by location based on available inventory; we'll tell you before you order if a location's specs differ from the standard listing.
// 3. Your Account
- You must provide accurate account and contact information, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including actions taken by anyone you give access to your server.
- You're responsible for keeping your account and server credentials (passwords, SSH keys) secure.
// 4. Billing & Payment
- Services are billed in advance for the billing cycle you choose (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually).
- We accept cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Litecoin, USDT, USDC, Ethereum Classic) and standard card payments.
- All payments are final. Due to the nature of cryptocurrency transactions (no chargebacks) and the resources committed at signup, we do not offer refunds once an invoice is paid. Review your order carefully before paying.
- If an invoice isn't paid by its due date, the associated service may be suspended. If it remains unpaid, we may cancel the order and reclaim the resources.
// 5. Suspension & Cancellation
We may suspend or terminate a service for: non-payment, a violation of our Acceptable Use Policy, abuse reports, or activity that puts our infrastructure or other customers at risk. Where practical we'll notify you first via a support ticket or email — but for active abuse (e.g. an attack originating from your server) we may suspend immediately and explain afterward.
You can cancel your own service at any time from the client area. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not refund amounts already paid (see §4).
// 6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy, which covers prohibited content and activity, abuse handling, and how to report abuse.
// 7. Service Availability
We target 99.9% uptime and work to keep that commitment, but hosting infrastructure can experience outages from hardware failure, network issues, maintenance, or events outside our control. Services are provided "as is" without guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
// 8. Your Data & Backups
You are responsible for your own data. We do not routinely back up customer VPS/dedicated server content — set up your own backup strategy. If we ever need to reinstall, rebuild, or reassign a server (including at your request), any data on it will be lost unless you've backed it up yourself.
// 9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, DejavuHost is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services, including data loss, lost profits, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the billing period the claim relates to.
// 10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the business grows. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
// 11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by generally applicable principles of law for online service providers. A specific governing jurisdiction will be added here as the business's legal structure is finalized.
